Jordan and Avery walk inside Apple Tree Chocolate. We cut to a brief montage of treats. Jordan and Avery take some chocolate with them to a table.

AVERY
So, what do you think?

JORDAN
You can’t go wrong with chocolates. I think this is better than the art gallery.

Avery is a little offended but brushes off the remark as a joke as this is chocolate after all.

AVERY
I mean, this is chocolate, but surely there was something at MAINSITE that spoke to you?

JORDAN
The George Washington in the OU hat was pretty funny.

AVERY
That was clever.

JORDAN
I don’t know. If I’m being honest, all this art is boring. Like it doesn’t even make sense and I probably wouldn’t bid on any of them.

AVERY
So, you didn’t like anything?

JORDAN
Pretty much.

AVERY
Well. I guess I’m sorry I wasted your time.

Avery leaves the restaurant, upset.

Jordan sighs and sulks for a moment.

JORDAN
Way to go, Jordan. Your first date in a new city with someone, and you acted like a jerk. I should apologize.

Jordan steps outside, looking for Avery.

Avery is nowhere to be seen.

JORDAN
Avery couldn’t have gone far. I bet they went to check out that alley art.

Jordan crosses the street but then stops to ponder which direction Avery may have gone.

JORDAN
Great. Which way?
